Man Ranting About “White Devils” Stabs 12-Year-Old Boy At McDonald’s
Charles Edward Turner, 51, was arrested after attacking and stabbing a 12-year-old boy at a McDonald’s in Pittsburgh, PA. Turner tackled the boy from behind and stabbed him in the neck with a box cutter before the boy’s family members pulled him off of the boy. Turner was shouting racial slurs like “white n*****” and “white devil” (a term often used by Nation of Islam members) during the attack.
When police arrived, Turner attacked police officers while continuing to yell racial slurs as he was arrested. One of the police officers endured cuts to his face and two other victims had minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.
Turner is being charged with attempted homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault and resisting arrest.
The 12-year-old boy is in stable condition.
