Hodan Hassan wins re-election in Minnesota

Hodan Hassan was re-elected to represent Minnesota’s state house district 62A on November 3, 2020. She defeated Republican Arjun Kataria. Hassan received 89.7% (14,056) of the votes, while Kataria received just 10% (1,574) of the votes.

Hassan is a former refugee from Somalia who has plenty of negative things to say about our Country, the Country that took her in. She refers to our President as a sociopath and the police as predators. She once claimed that muslims are the real victims of the September 11th terror attacks. Hassan is anti-gun. She previously made headlines in the media when she lashed out at a Republican Congressman when he jokingly stated “everyone should eat pork”. Hassan also made headlines for filing a letter of support for Mohamed Noor, the Somali ex Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed an unarmed woman. She calls police officers predators, but will stick up for them if they are Somali officers who murder an unarmed woman in cold blood. Go figure.

Hassan was first elected in 2018. She was sworn into office on the quran.
