CAIR Advisory Board Member Defeated In Massachusetts Election
Nichole Mossalam was defeated in the Democratic primary election for Massachusetts House of Representative District 35.
She was defeated by incumbent Paul Donato Sr. (D) on September 1, 2020. Mossalam received 44.3% (4,161) of the votes, while Donato received 55.7% (5,227) of the votes.
Mossalam is a community activist, the Director at Islamic Cultural Center of Medford, and an Advisory Board Member at CAIR Massachusetts. She is former co-chair of Our Revolution Massachusetts (ORMA).
