Looney Tunes has taken away Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam’s guns in the “Looney Tunes Cartoons” that launched on the new streaming service HBO Max.

The characters will look the same, except for having their guns. “We’re not doing guns,” executive producer Peter Browngardt said in an interview with The New York Times.

According to reports, Looney Tunes will still do “cartoony violence” including sticks of Acme dynamite, but guns are now banned.
