A video posted by Blaze TV’s Elijah Schaffer shows a mob of rioters beat a man to near-death. The man was reportedly attempting to defend his shop and chased rioters away with a sword. The mob of rioters then rushed the man attacking him, knocking him to the ground, hitting him with a skateboard and stoning him with medium sized rocks. The mob beat the man until he was unconscious. He was treated by volunteer medics and Schaffer called an ambulance.
The man was critically injured.
