Jamilla Alani (Democrat) is running for election to the Utah State Board of Education to represent District 8.
Alani is a muslim woman who covers up with a hijab. Her Facebook page is filled with posts about islam and allah. Alani has shared several events featuring radical muslims, such as Siraj Wahhaj and Linda Sarsour.
Alani is a representative for Helping Hand, an organization that helps people in “disastrous situations anywhere all over the world with special focus in countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Kenya, Sudan.” Alani’s Facebook page has many posts asking for donations and support for people in muslim countries. In March Alani posted a video of at least 100 boxes of clothes and toiletries being shipped to refugees in Bangladesh. I have yet to see a single post from Alani about helping Americans in need.
Alani will face Republican incumbent Janet Cannon in the general election on November 3 2020.

Looks like religious favouratism towards Islamic people in need only. Islam is like that. ‘Don’t make any friends with the Kafir’ so the instruction goes from the highest authority, Md. and the Koran.

They take the oath of office but do not abide by it. Their only mission is to infiltrate our government at all levels and radically change it.

I feel so sorry for what’s to come, for all these politically correct sensitivity freaks, that always jump to defend people that immigrate here with no intentions to ever assimilate an become True Americans. When the time is right, after they establish themselves as a political force to be reckoned with. Do I hate Muslims? No! I just don’t have any use for them, I think they should all be sent back the middle East, that they have already destroyed.

If the Mormons elect her- I’d be VERY surprised. Again if ANY muslims come out & state what a much better country this is rather than the extremist dictatorships they come from AND/OR condemn radical islamic/muslim extremists- then they may be accepted in our country. GEE–I’m still waiting to hear from the first one–has anyone EVER heard of this?

I am an immigrant!
My parents and I landed at Ellis Island.
We move to northern WI.
Where I was raised.
My father always said “We live in America now, so you must become an American!”.
So, I did.
I learned English.
Went from kindergarten to a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Married and raised two sons letting them know they’re Americans as well.
I know the cultures, the social norms, the races, the law, and the rules of conduct.
I follow them, not break them!
I welcome all immigrants as long as they follow the same path I have.
If they can’t, they’re not welcome here!!
