Muslim MN State Rep. Lashes Out At Republican Congressman For Saying Everyone Should Eat Pork
Muslim Minnesota State Representative Hodan Hassan recently lashed out at Republican Congressman Steve King, after King jokingly said that everyone should eat pork.
According to reports,
King, speaking at a townhall event in Iowa, was discussing China’s mass internment of its minority Muslim population. King said: “They want them to put on Chinese clothing and eat Chinese diet, which includes trying to force the Muslims to eat pork. That’s actually the only part of that that I agree with is, everybody ought to eat pork. If you have a shortage of bacon, you can’t be happy.”
Hassan, a former refugee from Somalia, took to Facebook to respond to King’s comments:
Steve King you will rotten in hell for being hateful idiotic human. Your hateful heart will eventually stop beating as you continue to fill it with agenda to ostracize Muslims.

This isn’t the first time Hassan has made controversial comments. In 2011, Hassan claimed that muslims are the real victims of the September 11th terror attacks.
Hassan was elected to Minnesota House of Representatives, District 62A in November 2018. She took her oath of office on the quran in January of 2019. Hassan is currently running for re-election.
