First Muslim Woman Elected to Pennsylvania State House

Movita Johnson-Harrell has been elected to Pennsylvania State House District 190.

According to reports, “At 9:20 p.m., with 58 of 80 precincts reporting, Johnson-Harrell had garnered 66 percent of the vote, with her nearest challenger at 21 percent.”

Johnson-Harrell is the first muslim woman elected as State Representative in Pennsylvania.

Johnson-Harrell is the Founder of The CHARLES Foundation, which advocates for more gun laws.
