The woman who climbed the Southwest Key building in Austin, Texas, has been identified as Patricia Okoumou.
Okoumou, a woman from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, climbed the Southwest Key building in a protest against the detention of illegal immigrant children. Okoumou was yelling “Free the children. Let them go,” from the top of the building.
Patricia Okoumou is the same woman who climbed the same woman who climbed the Statue of Liberty last 4th of July, during a protest against ICE.
