Three Muslim Candidates Elected to Congress

Six muslim candidates ran for U.S. House of Representatives seats in the 2018 midterm elections. Three of those candidates were elected.

Andre Carson was re-elected to Indiana’s 7th Congressional District. Carson was first elected in 2008.

Rashida Tlaib was elected to Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.

Ilhan Omar was elected to Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District.

  1. Don Maynard Who cares ..? What’s your platform..? Why would I hire you to be the administrator of the tax paying funding that enables your subsistence….You tell me …I’ll do the research and I’ll make a decision…This is not a popularity contest,we learned from that in 2008….
