Saima Farooqui is a muslim woman running for Florida House of Representatives for District 96. Saima is the Vice President of the Coconut Creek Democratic Club and Secretary of the American Muslim Democratic Caucus of Florida.

Saima has been involved in the Women’s Marches, March for our lives and an Impeachment March.

Saima is one of many muslims who decided to run for office after President Trump was elected. She is also one of many muslims running, who are calling for gun control.

Saima will face Kristin Jacobs in the primary election on August 28th 2018. There are no Republicans running for this seat.
