Prosecutors to seek life without parole for Emanuel Kidega Samson, the gunman who opened fire at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, TN. on Sept. 24th 2017, killing Melanie Crow Smith and injuring six other people.

According to reports, The District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that it will be seeking the enhanced penalty of life in prison without the possibility of parole for Emanuel Samson.

If convicted, Samson could also face additional sentencing for the remaining 42 counts of the indictment.
