He and his wife have held fundraisers at their home for Clinton, which Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin attended. Mahmood is anti Trump and calls himself a “triple threat” to President Trump.
Ammar Campa-Najjar, a muslim man, is running for US Representative for California District 50. During the Obama Administration, Campa-Najjar served in the Labor Department’s Office of Public Affairs for the Employment and Training Administration. Campa-Najjar is pro Hillary Clinton and anti President Trump. Campa-Najjar says if he wins, he will be “Trump’s worst nightmare: the first Latino-Arab American elected to congress in the Trump era.”
Kia Hamadanchy is running for US Representative for California District 45. Kia decided to run for Congress after President Trump announced the travel ban. It seems his biggest goal is to “resist” President Trump.
Omar Siddiqui is running for US Representative for California District 48. Omar is anti President Trump and was influenced by Obama to run for Congress. According to reports, He has worked as a consultant and adviser for the FBI and the CIA where he focused on national security and counterterrorism.
Kaisar Ahmed is a Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 31st Congressional District of California. Kaisar Ahmed was born in Narayanganj, Bangladesh and came to America in 1972. Kaisar worked as a volunteer Sunday school teacher at Peace Academy, a nonprofit Islamic school in Redlands, CA.
City of Bell Councilmember and former Mayor Ali Saleh is now running for Ca State Senate. Saleh is a muslim whose parents emigrated from Lebanon. Saleh is an active member of his local mosque.
