At least 20 threats for different schools have been made since yesterday’s school shooting in Parkland Fl. that left 17 people dead. Within hours after the shooting, threats to different schools started being made and continued into today.
A student was arrested for posting a photo to snapchat of himself, holding a gun, with the words “Round 2 of Florida tomorrow” on the photo. The threat was against Broome High School in Spartanburg South Carolina.
Police and school officials have been notified about another threat to George Washington High School. The information late Thursday night marked the second consecutive night a threat has been made. A threat made Wednesday night proved to be unfounded. Extra precautions will be taken again Friday, including extra law enforcement presence at the school. Meanwhile, school is on a normal schedule.
A threat was posted on social media to Edison High School and Sunnyside High School in Fresno, Ca. There will be an increased presence of officers at both schools on Friday.
South Portland High School student was arrested Thursday morning on his way to school and charged with terrorizing after posting a message on social media about “shooting up the school,” police and school officials said.
There was a scare at Carmel high school in Carmel, California but the school says there was never a threat.
Apparently there was a threat at Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia
A threat on social media was made towards Clover Hill high school in Midlothian, Virginia.
According to students, there was also a threat at Foothill high school in Ca.
Another student posted about a threat at Trenton High School in Trenton, Michigan.
All of this, just a day after 17 people were killed in a school shooting. I’d say it’s time for armed guards at all schools!
