In July of 2017, 18 year old Obdulia Sanchez was driving under the influence, while live streaming on Instagram, throwing up gang signs, and rapping along to music. Before wrecking, Obdulia’s 14 year old sister, Jacqueline Sanchez, begged Obdulia to stop driving recklessly, and even said “you’re gonna kill me!” And she was right. Sometime after that, Obdulia wrecked, ejecting her sister from the car and killing her. 

After the wreck, Obdulia continued to live stream, showing her sister’s dead body. In the video, Obdulia is seen moving Jacqueline around, shaking her and in one part, it looks as if she’s plugging Jacqueline’s nose.

When officers arrived, Obdulia Sanchez yelled and spit at them. She fought with the officers and tried to run and she attempted to kick a paramedic in the face. 

In the 911 call, Obdulia can be heard saying: “Can you come pick up my sister, she is f*cking dead. Man, I just crashed and I was DUI. Can you please come pick us up?”

Since Obdulia has been arrested, she has had many court dates. Many times she is seen smiling and laughing in court. 

Obdulia wrote a 4 page letter to a reporter, telling him her plans for the future. She plans to make an album, start a clothing line, open a boxing gym. In the letter, Obdulia also wrote in the letter “I made that video because I knew I had more than 5,000 followers. It was the only way my sister would get a decent burial. I would never expose my sister like that. I anticipated the public donating money because my family isn’t rich.” She went on to say “Sorry for making that video. I look awful but I accomplished my goal.”

It is more than clear that this girl is evil and has no remorse for killing her sister. But yet,  the judge has indicated that he may rule on a modified sentence of six years and four months in prison, with time served. Rather than the original max sentence of 13 years and 8 months. This can, and hopefully will change before the sentence hearing, which is Feb. 6th.

The District Attorney is still pushing for the max sentence. While Obdulia’s Attorney is arguing for probation instead of prison.

Sanchez originally pleaded “not guilty.” But she has now entered a plea of “no contest.”

I personaly feel Obdulia should serve LIFE in prison, but I hope she at least gets the max sentence.

I have heard from more than one person that Obdulia Sanchez is a DACA “kid.” I am not sure how to confirm this, but if anyone reading this knows how, please comment! If the judge wont punish Obdulia, maybe ICE will deport her.
