Two Arrested For Helping Inmates Escape From Palo Alto Courthouse

On Nov. 6th two inmates escaped from a Palo Alto courthouse. Tramel Mcclough and John Bivins were both at the courthouse for hearings when they escaped. Mcclough and Bivins ran out of an emergency exit in the courthouse and jumped in a vehicle that was waiting for them. They then drove a few blocks before abandoning the get away car, and took off in a U-Haul that was waiting for them. 

Two people have been arrested for helping the men escape. According the the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office, Marquita Kirk and Rene Hunt were arrested for “conspiracy” & “accessory after the fact.”

In a tweet by the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office, they wrote:

The Sheriff’s Office arrested 2 individuals for “conspiracy” & “accessory after the fact” for their roles in the Palo Alto Courthouse Escape. Marquita Kirk (left) & Rene Hunt (right) were booked into Main Jail. The escapees McClough & Bivins are still at-large. If seen, Call 911

Mcclough and Bivins are still on the run. If you see them call 911 immediately.
