Church Shooting In Fresno CA, One Dead, One In Critical Condition
Fresno, Ca – Police say 64-year-old Manuel Garcia is the man responsible for a Church shooting in Fresno, CA. Early Sunday morning, Garcia shot two people in the parking lot of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Garcia shot his estranged wife, 61-year-old Martha Garcia, and her friend.
Martha died in the parking lot. Her friend, whose name has not yet been released, was rushed to the hospital, but he is not expected to survive.
Police say that after shooting, Garcia texted his daughter and told her what he had done. Garcia also told his daughter that he was heading home, and killing himself.
Sometime after police arrived at the home, police sent in a robot and found that the suspect shot himself in the head, and was dead.
