Riverside, CA – Around 11am today a man took a teacher hostage at a Riverside Elementary school. The teacher is still currently being held hostage.
The hostage has been identified by her daughter as 70 year old Linda Montgomery. According to Montgomery’s daughter, she has been teaching at Castle View Elementary School for at least 20 years.
A family member of the suspect claims the suspect had a breakdown earlier this morning and that family took his keys away. A man who identified himself as the suspect’s uncle claims he is not dangerous and has no weapons.
