A few days ago I wrote an article about the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library, inviting a drag queen named Xochi Mochi to read to children. Xochi is male, but identifies as a female killer clown from outer space and has a Tumblr account filled with gay porn. During story hour, Xochi dressed like an evil demon with 5 horns, and covered in fake blood. I would say this is enough for any sane person to say this is NOT appropriate for children.

But it gets even worse…Yesterday, I came across Xochi’s real name, which is Jorge Alcantar. Next, I found Jorge’s Facebook. He posted a photo that was taken during story hour and wrote:

I got to read to the children today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve been given as a drag queen. It’s so important to have representation and normalize all the letters in LGBTQIA+ in everyday lives. I saw so many excited faces it filled my heart with so much joy and hope to come back again soon! Thanks again to everybody who made this opportunity a reality and make such a successful LGBT event #🏳️‍🌈

Right there, he admits to trying to “normalize all the letters in LGBTQIA.” Problem is, it’s NOT normal! This should not be forced on children!

As if all of this is not disturbing enough, the comments on Jorge’s post may be the most disturbing of all. There were comments from surprised friends, that Jorge was allowed around children. Some joked (or at least I hope it was a joke) about a restraining order on children being lifted. There was talk of eating children. And another comment that read, “Yaaass drag princess from hell.” Another comment read, “When you reading to children and one acts up and the real you slips out a lil bit.” And the most disturbing comment of all of them read, “This warms every organ in my body!” WTH? These people are sick in their heads, and anyone who believes this is ok is also sick in their head.

God, help us.
