Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Invites NFL Players For Ride Along

Fresno, CA – In response to NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem to protest the police, the Fresno County Sheriff’s office has invited NFL players for a ride along with deputies.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s office posted to Facebook saying,

In response to recent national headlines, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend an open invitation to any NFL player who would like to ride along with deputies during their patrol shifts.

We welcome the opportunity to share what we do and also want to hear the concerns of athletes. By working together, hopefully we can gain a better understanding of all viewpoints. The ultimate goal is to create a positive partnership that improves relations with all members of our community.

Players can visit us during their season or during their off-season. We work 24/7/365, so we can definitely accommodate your schedule. This offer does not expire. Please contact us if you are interested. We are looking forward to meeting you.
