A few days ago President Trump tweeted a meme of himself body-slamming CNN. Although a lot of us thought it was funny, it upset some people, including CNN employees.
An article was published by CNN stating that they had the identity of the meme maker, and hinted at releasing it if he were to make another CNN meme. It stated:
“CNN is not publishing “HanA**holeSolo’s” name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same. CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.”
Chris Cuomo from CNN tweeted the following:
“Should CNN reveal name of Reddit user who made trump wrestling video? Had a lot of bigoted and hateful material on page and website.”
#CNNBlackmail immediately started trending on Twitter. Cuomo soon after deleted his tweet.
Laura Loomer, Journalist from The Rebel met up with Cuomo outside of CNN in New York and asked him a couple of questions.
“Do you think that it’s appropriate for CNN to be targeting private citizens over memes that CNN doesn’t like?”
“I don’ think that’s what happened and I think you should look at the other content that was on that site and think about who you’re defending.”
“Don’t you think that’s free speech?”
“you heard what I said right?”
And then he got in his vehicle and drove off.
shortly after Cuomo left, Laura was approached by CNN security. The man told Laura that she couldn’t take photos or videos and kicked her off of the property.
Sounds like CNN is getting nervous! As they should be. Let me list some of the things that have happened over the last couple of weeks.
What’s next for CNN?
