On April 13th, 24 people were rescued from the Joker’s Jinx roller coaster ride, at Six Flags in Maryland. Adults & children, ages 6-45 were stuck on the roller coaster for hours after it stopped 80 feet in the air and at a 30 degree angle, according to Prince George’s County Fire Department. Members of the High-Angle team removed the riders, one by one, to the tower bucket and lowered riders to the ground. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
This wasn’t the first time people were stuck on the Joker’s Jinx. Back in August of 2014 the same thing happened, two dozen people were stuck on the roller coaster for about 4 hours. Thankfully no injuries were reported that time either.
