
President Trump has donated his first quarter salary to The National Park Service, a total of $78,333. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke met with White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer who gave the check to Zinke. Spicer said “The Park Service has cared for our parks since 1916, and the president is personally proud to contribute the first quarter of his salary to the important mission of the Park Service.”
According to Zinke’s Twitter, shortly after President Trump donated the check, an anonymous donor gave $22,000 to The National Park Service Foundation.
