I’m sure you’ve heard by now Tomi Lahren appeared on The View a few days ago. I am not a fan of the show, but once I seen social media was in an uproar over Tomi’s appearance, I decided to watch online. Tomi didn’t seem like her feisty, go get ’em self, as she usually does. Maybe she was nervous, maybe she felt out numbered, or maybe she wanted them to like her. Who knows. But the part that has many of Tomi’s fans (now some EX fans) so upset is that she told the hosts of The View she is pro-choice. Tomi told the hosts, “I’m pro choice, and here’s why. I am a constitutional, you know, someone that loves the Constitution. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that as a Republican and I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.”
If you are a fan of Tomi, this probably comes as a shock to you. Just a couple of months ago Tomi went on a rant about pro-choice women, as you can see in a clip Tomi’s boss, Blaze founder Glenn Beck retwitted on Twitter.
Tomi also appeared in the video below, mocking pro-choice.
So why the sudden change in Tomi’s stance on abortion? Again, was it to be liked by the hosts of The View? To fit in? Is she trying to please both sides? Only Tomi can answer that, and maybe she should. Tomi’s fan base is dropping fast. She has spoke out on Twitter, but nothing to explain why the change.

Kaitlyn Schallhorn, one of Tomi’s coworkers also tweeted about Tomi’s appearance on The View saying “even Hillary Clinton didn’t call pro-life conservatives hypocrites.”
Many reports are saying Tomi has been suspended, some say she will be leaving The Blaze. I am unsure if either is true. Glenn Beck released a statement in which he made it clear he does not agree with Tomi, and admits she has flip flopped on her stance, and when mentioning people calling for Tomi to be fired, Beck said “That’s not for you to call. That’s not appropriate to be discussed on the radio. That’s in the privacy of the office of The Blaze.”
UPDATE: Tomi has retwitted an article that says she has been suspended from the show for one week, and that she may be leaving the show permanently.
